On Wednesday, February 6, Peace Care unveiled our new mission statement during a moving ceremony at St. Joseph’s School for the Blind.
“Together in Mission” celebrated Peace Care St. Ann’s and Peace Care St. Joseph’s legacies of more than 200 years’ combined experience providing excellent short-term physical rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care to patients and residents.
Guided by the vision and values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, Peace Care’s new mission highlights our unified commitment to providing compassionate care:
“We are a community of skilled, compassionate caregivers, rooted in Catholic tradition and the values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. We provide care with dignity for the healing of the whole person.”
Peace Care St. Joseph’s and Peace Care St. Ann’s held special Mission ceremonies on March 13, and March 14, respectively, for all employees. At each ceremony, all attendees committed in writing to at least one action they will personally enact in accordance with our mission. We collected these commitment statements, which are now on display at both homes.
