On March 8th, Michele J. Mount was appointed Peace Care’s new Director of Development and Community Relations. Michele’s goal is to implement a development strategy and direct developmental activities to support the residents, clients, and patients of Peace Care St. Ann’s and Peace Care St. Joseph’s. 

Prior to joining Peace Care, Michele has gained over 20 years of nonprofit experience, having most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Leading Age New Jersey and prior to that as Executive Director for the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Michele has an extensive background in fundraising, volunteerism, event planning, communications, strategic planning, and public speaking. 

Michele received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Social Relations from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and holds a Masters Certificate in Senior Care Management from Rutgers University. She is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
