Jersey City, NJ. May 5, 2017. The 41st Annual Peace Care St. Ann’s Gala was held on April 28, 2017 at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City.  The signature fundraising event benefits programs and services for Peace Care St. Ann’s elderly residents.

This year’s Gala recognized the Provident Bank for its long-standing commitment to Peace Care St. Ann’s and the community.  Provident Bank’s leadership and support allows Peace Care St. Ann’s to continue to provide the essential long-term care, short-term and outpatient rehabilitation care to the community in accordance with the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Accepting on behalf of Provident Bank were Edward Reilly, Senior Vice President and Treasurer and Charles Dederding, Assistant Vice President, Budget & Planning Analyst, both of whom also serve as Trustees of Peace Care St. Ann’s and Christine Cartwright, Corporate Donations Administrator at Provident Bank.

A Proclamation from the Office of the Mayor of Jersey City by Councilwoman at Large Joyce Watterman was presented to Peace Care St. Ann’s.  Former Jersey City Councilman Arnold Bettinger, Hudson County Planning Board Member Renee Bettinger also attended the Gala.

The 2017 Gala was led by Event Chairs, Janet Merly-Liranzo, Administrator Peace Care St. Ann’s, Dilenia Rodriguez, Assistant Administrator Peace Care St. Ann’s, Sr. Christine Backiel, CSJP, Chairperson of Peace Care St. Ann’s Board of Trustees, and Sr. Lucille Durso, CSJP.
