“In short, this place is a God send. Allow me to explain. My father recuperated at St Ann’s semi-acute rehabilitation facility for approximately six weeks following a heart attack in late-2019. He had been in the ICU for a week and was transferred here immediately thereafter. As his caretaker, I wanted a place that would care for my father, provide great rehabilitation services, and make him feel at home. St Ann’s exceeded my expectations on all three fronts. The service here is excellent. I was particularly impressed with the physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapists on staff (Megha, Kolange, and Pascal). They worked together to create an integrated plan for helping my father regain his strength and independence. They also demonstrated exceptional bedside manner and were compassionate in their care. The health aides were also very helpful. One aide in particular (Noura) was exceptionally good and cared for my father around the clock. I am deeply thankful for her and her service. More generally, the aides were quite good and helpful and treated my father as a family member. This was especially heartening and gave me peace of mind about my father’s care. The facility is also impressive. The room in which my father stayed felt like one’s home (it did not have a hospital-like feel unlike many other facilities). There is also a dining area, library, and living room that made us feel very much at home. There are also various social activities and services available on site. Lastly, I would like to recognize Ms. Iva Kirshner, who is the social worker at St Ann’s. She is a rockstar – exceptionally competent, thorough, compassionate, and always provides the right advice for getting the care that one needs. Highly recommend to say the least!”
“Mom received the best care during her 10 years of residency”
“Thanks so much [to the Rehab Staff] for your wonderful care of my mom while she’s been at St. Joseph’s.”
“We attended a special Mass for residents who passed away. My mother was one of those residents. The priest who presided over the ceremony was great and made it special.”
“Thank you for the wonderful care you showed my aunt. Your staff was always kind, caring and very professional. Service Mass was held in the chapel and was personal and comforting for the family.”
“Exceptional Care. Dedicated People!! This place is one of the best post-acute rehabilitation centers, utilizing the most efficient therapy delivery model and consistently establishing goals for every client. I did my 40 hours COTA Level 1 Fieldwork here and it was a remarkably rewarding experience. I was able to observe the skills and treatment techniques under the supervision of a clinical instructor. My questions to fieldwork educator and staff were adequately answered and my clinical instructor was the best clinical teacher. I’ve learned so much from him throughout my fieldwork. Great place to work, clean inviting atmosphere and dedicated friendly stuff. Thank you for the opportunity.”
“Your people were so great – so gracious. I have nothing but nice things to say about you.”
“My stay was great! Every time my wife gets made at me she wants to send me back!”
“The place was very nice. It was a pleasure to be there. I am now pain-free!”
“I couldn’t get better care than at St. Ann’s. Everyone was wonderful. I’m doing very well – the doctor said that she doesn’t have to see me anymore.”
“Oh St. Ann’s is wonderful. I can’t say enough. They are so nice to each other and to the residents.”
